Research Description: Dr. Azagury’s research interests focus on clinical outcomes research mostly related to bariatric surgery and weight loss. Our current and future projects focus on the role of new anti-obesity medications GLP-1 Receptor Agonists (GLP-1RAs) in the management of obesity. We will leverage our large experience from our multidisciplinary weight management clinic to study the outcomes and uses of these therapies alone or in combination with other surgical or endoscopic treatments.
